Andrew Harris, originally from Hamilton, Ontario is an aspiring professional photographer currently in his final semester of study at Humber College. Following the completion of the 2-year program in Creative Photography at Humber, Andrew will be bridging to Sheridan College to complete a Bachelors of Applied Photographic Arts. Andrew’s work is consistently ranked among the best in the program and, as a result, Andrew has had many of his images displayed publicly to the student body. Furthermore, he is also scheduled to have several pieces of his work featured in a slew of upcoming gallery showings in Toronto, Ontario including the Twist Art Gallery.


Following graduation, Andrew plans to pursue a career in commercial product photography, his current specialty. Outside of digital photography and image processing, Andrew enjoys working in the darkroom creating Van Dyke prints while exploring and executing numerous historical processes of creating images. Having deep roots in photography, which goes back several generations in Andrew’s family has helped Andrew gain a secure foothold in the world of Photography and image processing. Andrew is continually growing as a professional photographer and is always interested in taking on the challenges that face the professional photographer of today.

Spotlight on Laura Twigg

Laura Twigg, a high school student from Hamilton received her first camera at the age of 9 and immediately showed a keen interest in, and talent  for,  photography. Laura has entered her images in the Ancaster Fall Fair and the Rockton World’s Fair, earning first place ribbons for the majority of her entries. She is a member of Sunrise Gallery in Hamilton; her work has been shown several times. She has also exhibited projected images at the Burlington Art Centre. Laura is a volunteer  at  Binbrook Little Theatre and has taken portraits of cast members  for productions.


Following high school, Laura hopes to attend the Bachelor of Applied Photographic Arts program at Sheridan College in Oakville. Laura is an outdoors  enthusiast and enjoys camping , kayaking, geocaching  and hiking.
