NOTE: Information on Workshops. 

The workshops listed here are conducted by HCC

Members who wish to help others by imparting information through their experiences in Photography. They are not designed to replace courses offered at Colleges and Universities. They are offered to paid up members for the modest fee of $5 and to non members for $10, for offsetting the price of the room. Unless otherwise noted they are held in the study room of the Mount Hamilton Christian Reformed Church. - An introduction to understanding the basic camera settings including ISO, shutter speed, aperture and other features. The presentation is not camera specific, composition, rule of thirds and hand held shooting vs. using a tripod will be covered. A camera is not required for this part of the workshop

JUDGE FOR YOURSELF

Judging is an Achilles heel for many images. Audience participation at this workshop is expected and encouraged.

Participants are encouraged to bring samples of their images, which will be judged by the presenter, followed by constructive critique with suggestions for potential improvement, including live Photoshop based “fixes”.

The result will be more creative images with impact with a potential to "score" better at Camera Clubs competitions
